Maintenance Log

Transparent updates to keep your Treasure Hunt running smoothly. The Cape Town Treasure Hunt platform is a fairly complex system with many moving parts working together behind the scenes. Just like any digital platform, it needs regular care, updates, and maintenance to keep everything running smoothly.

We created this Maintenance Log for two simple reasons:

1. So you can help us spot issues quickly

If you notice anything that doesn’t look right — for example a link not working, a page not loading, or a card not downloading — please let us know.
The fastest way is through our Contact Us form.

2. So you can see exactly what we fix and when

Whenever we update, repair, or improve anything on the system, we’ll record it here. This includes things like broken links, zip-file issues, form fixes, and background upgrades.
Our goal is complete transparency. We want every hunter to enjoy the game without frustration, and when something needs attention, our team jumps on it as quickly as possible.

27 November 2025 – System outage for 17 minutes due to high traffic load
28 November – No issues
29 November – No issues
30 November – Security updates applied to all forms

01 December 2025 – Fixed broken links for Cards XIII and 13
02 December – Resolved download glitches for Cards 10 and 14
03 December – Site slow – no local issues
08 December – Fixed corrupted Zip file for Card 13
09 December – Planned maintenance today; system may be offline for up to 1 hour
12 December – Tiny errors on cards 12, 14 & 15 was fixed
14 December  – Issue on card 16 solved
15 December  – Major software update: Please re-test links/passwords if you previously experienced broken links.
