You can register [HERE]. It is free. The password system is case-sensitive. Use CAPITAL LETTERS, no spaces, and only in English. TIP: Type your answer in a text file first. Check your spelling. Then copy and paste it into the password field. Note: Some passwords may require a prefix or suffix character – something like a star (*) or hash (#) sign, or a dollar($) sign, etc. For example: #CAPETOWN As you play the game and solve riddles and clues – you may find hints on this – it could be small little tips only you could see – who knows? So… here is a little secret [don’t tell anyone – they must read it here] – if ALL else fails and you are dead certain you have the correct password[answer] – try to add an “#” prefix or “#” suffix character to the password – OR do both… it may just work. Watch this space! However, you probably won’t know immediately — unless the founder announces it in the news or on social media. We will update this site the moment we receive confirmation. There is a small hidden wooden box for you to find. Inside the wooden chest are the instructions for claiming the treasure, as well as a few unique items for verification. For security, the real treasure items is kept safe by the official Stewards [sponsors]. The exact value of the treasure is unknown, but it contains at least a few pure silver coins and other items from sponsors. Yes. You can send us a message via the Contact Us form. You may not receive a reply immediately – please give us a day or two to get back to you. Note: We won’t give hints or guidance — it’s up to you to find the treasure. For most people, no — but use common sense. When you find yourself saying: “Wow… this could be dangerous” then you are on the wrong path – guaranteed! The chest is NOT in: Stay safe. For these people crossing a road is extremely dangerous while others [who use common sense] cross the same road safely a thousand time a day. If you fall in the “DANGER” category – please do not participate in the game – we don’t want you to put your own life in danger. Is This Hunt For You? Absolutely! You don’t need a degree in cryptology – just a curious mind, a sense of adventure, and maybe Google Maps. Some riddles can be solved in 2 or 3 minutes, others may take 20 or 40 minutes. Who knows – there might be a few riddles that can take a day or two to solve. Take your time. Enjoy the journey – it’s fun! NOTE: Once you’ve collected all the cards – and solved all the riddles – the real fun and search begins! Good Luck. Found the Treasure? What Now? If you think you’ve located the hidden treasure chest, follow the instructions inside carefully. The official Treasure Hunt Stewards [you will be instructed to present what you found to them] will verify everything you present, including location, timestamp, and item match. Only a verified find [including proved that you collected all the cards] will be accepted as a “win”. For How Long Does the Treasure Hunt Run? The treasure will remain hidden until it is found — or until 31 December 2026. We reserve the right to extend or restart the hunt depending on discoveries. Check back here for updates.
